Atlanta-based marketing agency Surthrive has launched applications for its startup school.
One Square is the first accelerated training program for incubators offering a learning environment for the founders of technological start-ups “too early”. The program is designed to help pre-product and revenue founders pre-validate and turn their operating ideas into profitable businesses by providing direct community access, curricula and coaching.
What sets One Square apart is that founders can learn at their own pace and time. Founders can also curate their curriculum by manually selecting the classes they most need. The goal of the 10-week hybrid program is to help participants validate their business model and grow through profitability. Participants will also have direct access to key influencers in the operating ecosystem. Square One does not take equity in the participating startups.
In keeping with the new norm and making access to resources as smooth as possible for the startup founders, Surthrive moved its programming completely online.
The proof is in the track record ….
In its first year, 16 start-up founders completed the program and collectively Raised $ 110,000 in funding. Quite impressive.
In addition, Square One has curated a group of star coaches, consultants and instructors, with proven records that help the founders of technology. It trains the next generation of founders of profitable technological start-ups. Notable names include Backstage Capital founder and managing partner Arlen Hamilton, CEO of Seed & Spark, Emily Best, and Boomtown Accelerators founder and portfolio manager, Jose Whites.
